February 2018 Simon Alejandro adressed that he had changed his album plans and now were going to release an EP. Few people knew that there were more projects in the making.

Following up the 'Paris' EP that came out march this year, Simon Alejandro is now releasing 'Paris 2' EP on his own label Jungelen.

5 well produced tracks inspired by 90's US hiphop but also modern sounds like grime and trap. Alejandro has been focusing on well written lyrics and tight flows and making each tune special with it's one ambience. The last track 'Jusqu'ici tout va bien' is his first song in french, while finally having a feeling of being able to write in the language he has been learning the last three years by living a year in Montpellier and half a year in Paris. Musically the sound and style of the new EP is different from his earlier releases like the album 'Brun Viking' ('Brown Viking' in Norwegian) that came out in 2015. The instrumentals is a bit more electronic and 2018 sounding, but he is as always keeping the live aspect of bringing in musicians in the studio.


Norways most underrated beatmaker, Lars B - has produced all the instrumentals - some of them together with Simon Alejandro - by passing sketches over the internet and some together in Denmark, where Lars B is currently living. On the EP you hear guest apperances from Jonas Hamre (saxophone), Andreas Hesselberg (trumpet) and Dekstra Large (scratch).

The project was recorded in Alejandro's Paris apartment in Belleville during late 2017 and early 2018. It is mixed in Bergen by Alejandro and Simon Waaler, and mastered in the UK by Star Delta Mastering.
